Van Driver

Description

Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for a multi–drop van driver on an ongoing basis starting ASAP. This is collection and delivery of parcels and packages around the Leicestershire area for a well–established family business based in Leicester with an excellent record for good customer service.

Our client is expanding their numbers due to new business and need to increase the size of their driver team. Multi drop parcel delivery experience is essential.

Duties:

07:30 start on collection and delivery work around Leicester. Shift lengths usually around 10hrs per day This is a ongoing position. You will be using hand–held scanners and taking photographs of each drop. Induction is a site tour and licence check along with learning all paperwork and processes and site safety before first shift. This is a Monday to Friday operation starting at 07:30 and finishing around 17:00. Saturday shifts available. Experience Needed/ About You:

Cat B licence Minimum 2 years experience of multi–drop van deliveries Good geographical knowledge of Leicester Good level of spoken / written English Good customer service skills No more than 6 points for minor motoring offences. Over twenty five for insurance purposes. Pay/ Salary:

Pay rate is 540 per week Paye ( 12.50 per hour) min 8 hours paid Hours & Contract Type:

This is a Monday to Friday operation starting at 07:30. 4 week temp to perm. Weekly pay. Free onsite parking. Interviews available immediately
