Description
Job Title: Program Buyer
Grade: P1 & P2 available
Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Rate of pay: 18–25ph (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday
Job Role:
To analyse and report on the supply of parts to Production in support of blue carding seats, ensuring timely resolution of shortages and improving supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and report on critical WBS shortages using Kit Fill Analysis (up to Day 90), with a focus on issues occurring within 10 days of build.
Collaborate within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to resolve supply issues.
Represent the Supply Chain function in production meetings and during line stoppages.
Work closely with Tactical Buyers to resolve supply chain issues and participate in supplier calls.
Support line MRB (Material Review Board) activities, particularly for liability:
Disposition parts with the IPT.
Raise rework POs in accordance with procedures.
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
Assist the IPT in closing PDVs (Process Deviation Validations).
Raise and manage Rapid Response orders, ensuring accurate coding for PPV (Purchase Price Variance) tracking.
Partner with the Value Stream team to resolve sourcing and procurement issues.
Continuously identify and support improvement opportunities across the supply chain process.
