Stores Operative

Location: Hatfield, AL9 5JN

Salary: GBP25,500 to GBP26,500 DOE

Contract: Full time, Permanent

With more than 30 years experience and over 140 employees throughout the UK and Ireland, Mulmar is a leader in the supply and maintenance of some of the world s finest espresso coffee machines in offices, high street coffee shops, restaurants, airports, hotels and food retailers.

We are now seeking to recruit a Stores Operative to assist with the day to day running of the Stores – receiving, storing and despatching parts and components.

As a Stores Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving and processing external customer orders.

• Receiving tools, components and materials from suppliers.

• Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of deliveries to stock.

• Ensuring received stock is undamaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.

• Allocating and picking stock for internal workshop and field engineers.

• Ensuring all products are suitably packaged for delivery.

• Working with suppliers, service department and Stores staff to manage stock levels.

• Identifying parts required from manuals.

• Help maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed including basic housekeeping .

• Assisting with stock checks.

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

• Experience in the use of MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel).

• An ability to read drawings and parts lists to identify correct parts / components required.

• Minimum GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or C.

It would be great if you have:

• Previous experience in a store s environment would be beneficial.
