Description

RT Consulting is a Gold ERS Armed Forces Covenant SME with over 15 years’ experience delivering transformation across Defence, Government, Policing, and National Infrastructure. We are expanding our consultant network to support a major Defence framework in partnership with Amentum.

Our consultants work on some of the UK’s largest and most complex programmes, delivering meaningful change with measurable social, economic, and environmental benefits.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Social Value Coordinator to support the delivery of social value commitments for a high-profile Defence transformation programme. This role will ensure that community, skills, and sustainability initiatives are planned, tracked, and reported in line with the UK Government Social Value Model and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in delivering the programme’s Social Value plan, ensuring alignment with MOD priorities.

* Coordinate activities across employment, skills development, sustainability, and community engagement workstreams.

* Gather data and evidence to track KPIs such as jobs created, apprenticeships, training completions, and volunteer hours.

* Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal teams and client submission.

* Support senior Social Value Leads in stakeholder engagement with supply chain partners, local authorities, and community groups.

Qualifications & Experience

* Experience in coordination, administration, or project support — ideally within Defence, Government, infrastructure, or public sector contracts.

* Awareness of the UK Government Social Value Model, sustainability, diversity, or CSR initiatives.

* Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

* Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with data tracking tools.

* Hold active SC Clearance.

Contract Details

* Duration: 12 months (4 x 3-month stages) – strong potential for extension

* Location: Faslane, Clyde, with hybrid working arrangements – 2/3 days per week on site.

* Start Date: December 2025 / January 2026
