The Humber ports operate 7 days a week giving opportunity and flexibility to working patterns.

Stafforce port operatives support the UK's supply chain from discharge to distribution.

No two days are the same in shipping and a port operative may cover many different roles which include:

Stevedore / Quayside dutiesPlant driving including Forklift Trucks, Payloaders, Shovels, Tugs and Mobile harbour cranesSide loaderStock countsIndustrial cleaningTraffic Marshall and Vehicle banksman

What criteria do you need to apply?

Full UK driving licenceValid or Expired Counterbalance Forklift TruckHGV licenceValid or Expired Payloader / Shovel LicenceExperience in similar role such as port operative, stevedore, CSCS labourer, plant driver, forklift driver, Side loader, shovel driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman, crane driver, quarry operative, warehouse operative, weighbridge is highly desirablePrevious experience working with commodities such as Steel, 1t Bags or TimberExperience operating a radioIf you would like an opportunity within Ports please apply now!
