Description
We are currently recruiting for a Rental Equipment Delivery Driver on behalf of a leading healthcare company, to provide temporary cover for long–term sickness (approximately 3 weeks). This role is based at their modern depot in Ulverston, Cumbria, with travel across the region.
Location: Ulverston, Cumbria
Salary: 12.21 per hour / Weekly Pay!
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
About the Role:
As a Rental Equipment Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring essential medical equipment reaches hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Cumbria area.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and install basic medical devices to hospitals and healthcare settings (full training provided)
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals during installation and demonstration of equipment
Drive a 3.5–tonne vehicle, using your knowledge of the local area for efficient route planning
Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment both on–site and at the depot (training provided)
What We're Looking For:
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Comfortable driving a 3.5–tonne vehicle
Good communication skills
Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
A proactive and professional approach to work
