Removals Porters / Van Drivers and Class 2 HGV Drivers

Woods Removals are one of the areas premier moving companies and part of the Master Removers Group which also includes Johnsons of Shaftesbury and Thomas Firbank Removals of Bath.

We are currently recruiting for REMOVALS HGV Drivers and Van Drivers / Porters to work out of our Dorchester depot Full Time . We offer very good rates of pay.

Working as part of a removals team, packing and moving both residential and office moves in Dorchester and beyond. We have a reputation for offering a high quality, reliable and professional service and boast many prestigious customers.

Requirements.

Full UK Driving License

Must be very physically fit and able to carry heavy loads

Honest, Courteous and well presented.

Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction from the supervisor and manager.

Good communication skills.

We provide:

H&S training and uniform. All other training is on the job working within a team of experienced removals crew.

Guaranteed 30 hour (3 days), 40 hour (4 days), and 50 hour (5 days) per week contracts available.

20 Days Holiday Per Year Pro Rata + Bank Holidays.

starting rates for porters GBP123 per day + overtime and overnight allowances.
