Production Planner

Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join a busy Supply Chain team on a 6–month fixed–term contract. This is a hybrid role with 3 days based on–site and 2 days remote.

If you are highly organised, confident with ERP systems and have strong Excel skills, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities of the role

Developing and maintaining production schedules to meet demand and optimise resourcesMonitoring stock levels of raw materials, WIP and finished goodsCoordinating materials, equipment and labour to support production activitiesTracking production progress and resolving any issues or disruptionsReporting on performance and providing updates to stakeholdersIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costsCollaborating with sales, purchasing, and operations to ensure smooth workflowWhat we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Production Planner within manufacturingDemand Planning experience would be highly advantageousStrong ERP system experience (essential)Advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem–solving abilityStrong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesConfident communicator who can work well across different teamsThis is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast–paced environment and make an impact in a short–term contract role.
