Do you have your CIPS Level 4 qualification and want to join a company who will support you in getting your CIPS Level 6 qualification?

This company operate and maintain numerous power generation plants across the UK and abroad. Due to continued success and an ongoing programme of growth, they are now looking to recruit an IT Procurement Officer to join their highly professional team.

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for full end to end tendering and contract negotiation for IT services, software and hardware. They will liaise with technical staff and suppliers and support the company's lifetime extension projects for their plants. The role will be office–based in Leeds with some hybrid working available.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT procurement and their CIPS Level 4 qualification. They will also need to have contract law knowledge allowing them to review clauses. They will need to be commutable to Leeds 5–days a week.

The Role:

Responsible for full end to end tendering and contract negotiation for IT services

Procurement of IT services, software and hardware supporting the power plant's lifetime extension project

Experienced within IT procurement

CIPS Level 4 qualification

Knowledge of contract law and able to review clauses

Commutable to Leeds
