Warehouse Operative (Part-Time, Temporary)

Location: SW7

Contract Type: Temporary - Fully on-site

Working Pattern: Part-Time 4 hours per day Monday - Friday between 10am - 4pm

Pay: £15.12ph

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking for a part-time role in a dynamic environment. Our client, a leading institution in higher education, is seeking two Warehouse Operatives to support their operational team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient handling of goods and materials across the college's campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

Accept all deliveries and check that they match the order in quantity and condition.

Ensure all packages are correctly documented and provide clear signatures upon receipt.

Accurately pick and issue stock according to the Inventory Management policy and assist with stock takes.

Deliver goods to designated locations and maintain accurate delivery records.

Immediately report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery queries to the Hub Team Leader.

Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety policies.

Undertake administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, replying to emails and data entryKnowledge & Experience:

Proven experience in a similar role within a busy environment.

Familiarity with operational procedures for receiving goods and health & safety regulations.

Experience with specialised equipment and systems relevant to goods handling.Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good MS Office skills

Excellent attention to detail with good numeracy and literacy.

Effective organisational and time management skills.
