Interim Disrepair Solicitor

* 2-3 month contract

* Daily Rate - Negotiable for right level of experience

* 4 or 5 days per week

* Outside of IR35 (Limited Company or Umbrella Company - we can provide this).

* Day Rate Negotiable

* 2 days per week in office X 3 from home

Interim Disrepair Solicitor

The Housing organisation have recently launched a central legal actions register, now requiring dedicated support to bring structure, clarity, and progress to this critical area.

The Role

Solicitor or Paralegal (3 month fixed-term contract | Outside IR35)

You’ll play a pivotal role in helping us get on top of our current backlog (50 legal actions, including 40 disrepair claims) and set the foundation for robust case management going forward.

Key responsibilities include:

* Updating and maintaining the legal actions register

* Reviewing existing casework to assess progress and next steps

* Liaising with officers and external solicitors

* Designing and embedding an ongoing case management system

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified Solicitor or experienced Paralegal

* Strong organisational and case management skills

* Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, project-based role

* Excellent communication skills to coordinate between internal teams and external legal advisors
