Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician

Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and trailers to DVSA standardsDiagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and rectify efficientlyComplete all relevant paperwork and job records accuratelyWork independently and as part of a team in a fast–paced environmentLiaise with parts department to ensure smooth job flow Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician

Essential

Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV MechanicLevel 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalentStrong diagnostic and fault–finding skillsComfortable working 12–hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern Desirable
