HGV Skip & Roll on off Driver

Description

We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious driver for a family run waste management business to deliver, exchange and collect skips/roll on offs.

Experience driving skip wagons & roll on offs is required for the role.

Previous experience within waste management is preferred, however providing the candidate shows willingness to learn and adapt it is not essential.

A good knowledge of Wigan and surrounding boroughs is also required.

Monday - Friday working week

No weekend work required

Excellent rate of pay for the right applicant

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver, exchange, and collect skips/roll on offs for domestic and commercial customers

Carry out and record daily checks

Provide customers with excellent customer service

General housekeeping of the vehicle

Cooperating with management and co-workers

Follow health and safety rules

Be willing to switch vehicles/carry out other vehicle roles if necessary

Requirements:

Must Have Skip & Roll on off Experience

Valid Class 2 License

CPC Qualification

Digital Tachograph Card

Must Be Over 25 (due to Insurance)

Experience with skip/roll on off Work

Punctual, Flexible and Reliable

Minimum 1 Year Driving Experience

Early Starts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: GBP13.00-GBP15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
