Pay Rate: £14.60 per hour

Annual Equivalent: £28,163.00

Hexagon Recruitment is hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a friendly and reliable team in Denbigh, working on behalf of the local authority in their Waste & Recycling department. This is a brilliant opportunity to start immediately in a long-term role with a supportive crew.

What you’ll get:

£14.60 per hour

£28,163 per year (based on 37 hours per week)

Overtime paid at time and a half after 37 hours

Bank holidays paid at triple time

Temp-to-perm role with long-term potential

What you’ll be doing:

Driving a Class 2 refuse/recycling vehicle on local rounds

Working closely with a team of loaders to complete scheduled collections

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues

Ensuring safe driving and operation at all times in residential and rural areas

What we’re looking for:

A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence

Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Someone who’s reliable, a team player, and happy to help on the round when needed

A good level of physical fitness – this is an active role with some manual work involved
