HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter Trailer Focused or All–Rounder Great Benefits Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire

Location: Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire

Salary: GBP38,(Apply online only) per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full–Time, Permanent

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

Inspect, service and repair trailers and commercial vehicles to a high standard

Diagnose faults using EBS systems such as WABCO, Haldex and Knorr–Bremse

Complete service, maintenance and compliance records accurately

Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment

Deliver great customer service and work collaboratively with your team

Keep your skills updated with ongoing training and development

Requirements for an HGV Mechanic

Essential

Experience working on HGVs or semi–trailers

Recognised vehicle maintenance qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)

Desirable

HGV Class 1 driving licence

IRTEC accreditation

EBS diagnostics experience

Welding skills or certification

Experience with tail lifts or double–deck trailers
