Description
HGV/LGV/Class 1 Emergency Water Tanker Operative
Location: Various sites across the UK
Shifts: Days, Nights, Weekends, Nights Out (4 on / 4 off)
Pay: GBP19.00/hr (basic) + enhanced overtime + paid nights out
We are looking for experienced and flexible HGV/LGV/Class 1 Drivers for a unique and essential field–based role as an Emergency Water Tanker Operative. Representing a key client in the utilities sector, this is a long–term opportunity with the potential to go permanent.
About the Role:
As a Field Technician, you ll play a critical part in delivering clean, drinkable water where piped supply is unavailable. From emergency utility responses to supporting major construction and public events, your work keeps communities and industries connected to water.
This is a 24/7/365 emergency response operation so flexibility and dedication are vital.
Shift Pattern:
4 on / 4 off rota (includes days, nights, weekends) Regular nights out (may be a few or all nights during the pattern) Full training and shadowing provided Requirements:
Valid HGV/LGV/Class 1 C+E Licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card Age 23+ (due to insurance) Max 6 points (no DD, DR, or IN convictions) Comfortable working independently post–training Strong awareness of hygiene and safety you ll be handling water for human consumption Pay & Benefits:
