Role Description

We are currently recruiting an HGV Driver to join the team at our branch in Moulton Park, Northampton. You will be an integral part of a thriving, busy team, delivering building materials to our customers, loading and unloading safely and maintaining a high level of customer care and service.

Applicants should possess a current Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat C & E) licence. Ideally you will also hold a valid HIAB Crane Licence.

The daily duties of the job will be delivering building materials. You will occasionally be expected to assist in the yard and load your own vehicle - a forklift license would be an advantage.

Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-12.30pm alternate Saturdays

Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays

Requirements

Valid HGV licence and clean driving record

HIAB Crane license and experience

Experience of working in a Builder's Merchant

Forklift license is an advantage

A good understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to lift and carry heavy items

Flexibility to work long hours and weekends

Positive, can do attitude
