Day-to-day of the role: Deliver equipment and materials to client sites.Operate a company vehicle and work flexible hours, with higher delivery demands during the holiday season.Load and unload products from the vehicle using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, trail lifts, and other equipment as needed.Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries.Verify the accuracy of orders before loading them onto the vehicle.Collect payments from customers and issue receipts as necessary.Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle.Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding any delays or issues that may arise during deliveries.Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience as a nationwide deliveries driver preferred.Full clean driving licence (minimum 2 years).Ability to communicate effectively with clients face-to-face.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to solve challenges.Take ownership of the materials and vehicle, recognising that client experience is paramount.Familiarity with using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (within Health & Safety Guidelines).
