HGV Driver class 2

Please note that this is a temporary role initially but could become permanent for the right candidate

Job Role:

To deliver and collect our construction equipment promptly and efficiently, whilst providing a high level of customer service.

Fitting work is required as well as a driving role.

Key Duties:

Delivery of Plant and Plant Attachments to construction sites

Secure loads safely to flatbed vehicle

Fit attachments to machine with operator assistance

Match hydraulic couplings, Install and test plant attachments on site

Evidence all work using mobile device

Flexible approach required to yard duties that may be required on occasions

Keeping your vehicle and equipment organised, clean and serviceable

Ensure that the Company Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.

Key Competencies:

Clean current driving licence & driver CPC / HGV Class 2 entitlement

Clear understanding of tachograph regulations and vehicle checks

Previous experience of working with plant or attachments an advantage

Forklift truck trained preferred but not essential

Attention to detail

Able to work under own initiative but must be a team player

Excellent customer service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From GBP13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
