Description

A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 2 Tanker Drivers (NON ADR) to join our reputable client in Avonmouth, a leader in the production of dry silo mortars, renders, screeds, and kiln–dried sand for the construction industry. Our client operates across England, Wales, and Scotland, providing essential materials to the construction sector.

Temp: GBP16.50 per hour, OT GBP19.50 per hour (12 weeks)

Perm: GBP38,765 per annum, Time and a half – Saturdays & Double time –Sundays & Bank Holidays

Job Overview:

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays Shift Times: AM shifts starting at 5:00 AM, with an average shift length of 10 hours Guaranteed Weekly Hours once perm: 48 hours Temp to Perm Opportunity: Start on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver dry materials to various construction sites across the region Complete between 1 to 3 drops per shift Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational standards Maintain high standards of customer service while delivering materials Ensure the vehicle is well–maintained and compliant with all regulatory requirements Essential Qualifications & Experience:

HGV Class 2 Tanker experience preferred, but training will be provided Clean UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points At least 1 year of HGV driving experience (required for insurance purposes) Valid CPC and Tacho Card Knowledge of WTD (Working Time Directive) and drivers' hours regulations Strong communication skills and a flexible, can–do attitude Why Join Us?
