Description
We are looking for a permanent HGV Class 2 driver to join our friendly team, assisting customers with the safe transit of plant, machinery and small tools to personal and business locations. Must have experience in Plant.
The Role:
You will work with with a small team to ensure the safe transit of goods.
Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone, so good hygiene and presentation is important, along with good commutation skills.
Carry out daily vehicle checks in line with government guidelines.
Working within a team to ensure safe delivery and drop off.
Safe manual handling of goods on and off the vehicle.
Hours of work are from 07:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday plus 26 Saturdays a year. hours for alternate Saturdays are 08:00am to 12:00pm.
About You:
Class 2 clean HGV licence with at least 6 months experience.
Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification required
Experience in the plant hire industry.
Self-motivated team player.
Good communication skills
Able to complete lifting of heavy materials
Be within a commutable distance of Aylesbury
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: GBP34,000.00 per year
