Description
CLASS 2 SERVICE DELIVERY DRIVER WIDNES
Pay Rate: GBP14.30 per hour
Hours: Morning or afternoon shift available
Hexagon Recruitment are seeking an experienced Class 2 Service Delivery Driver to join our client s busy team in Widnes. This is a physically active role working in the Waste & Recycling industry perfect for drivers who enjoy being hands–on and working independently.
Key Duties:
• Collect and exchange 240–litre wheelie bins containing food and catering waste
• Operate a tail lift to load and unload up to 4 full bins at a time, replacing with 4 emptied and cleaned bins.
• Return bins to site and offload waste into hoppers.
• Complete approximately drops per day.
Shift Patterns:
• AM Shift: Start time between 12 midnight and 4:00 am (dependent on route).
• PM Shift: 11:00 am start.
• Maximum of 10 hours per day.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 12 months Class 2 HGV driving experience
• Proven multi–drop delivery experience.
• Comfortable working in environments with strong odours.
• Physically fit to manually move heavy wheelie bins.
