HGV Class 2 Driver – Permanent

Description

Mainstay Recruitment are proudly recruiting for a Class 2 driver for our client based in Smethwick, Birmingham.

The role involves 2–4 deliveries/collections of food products on a refrigerated vehicle, usually going to depots with minimal manual handling involved. Start time is fixed at 07:00 and shifts usually last around 10 hours per day, perfect if you like to have your evenings free.

The ideal candidate needs to have an in–date UK driving licence, CPC and digicard. Along with this, it would be ideal, but not essential for the driver to have at least 6 months of HGV driving experience and a maximum of 6 penalty points on their licence.

Pay:

First 12 weeks = 14.00 PAYE OR 15.50 including holiday pay

Full time salary = 32,000 per annum
