Location: Glasgow, Kinning Park, Paper Shredding & Baling Facility G41

Hours : Mon - Fri (40hrs per week). If required we may need to work overtime.

Salary : GBP28,000

Those are the key details on pay and schedule - now here's more on what you'll be doing as a Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative at Shred-It.

This is a hands-on, branch-based role, where you will work as part of the local operations team, with responsibility for the receipt, sorting and subsequent loading of customer's confidential waste into an automated shredder - ensuring we always adhere to and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.

Specifically, your duties will involve:

Co-ordinating the nightly parking of all trucks at the branch in preparation for next day transport operations

Undertaking a various range of associated and traditional warehousing tasks in support of branch requirements

We are ideally looking for someone with plenty of flexibility, alongside a genuine desire to learn and progress, who has:

A current and valid class 2 license.

Practical and relevant warehouse or plant experience - preferred but not essential

The ability to undertake physically demanding work
