Description
We are a family run business located in Marchwood, Southampton and are one of the leaders in shipping containers and cabins. With a large hire fleet of containers and cabins, as well as a growing sales operation. We also have our own fleet of 20+ Hiab trucks and drivers, as well as multiple site support vehicles. Customer service is incredibly important to us and all of our staff are not only skilled at what they do, but incredibly passionate, with our customers being number one priority.
Our drivers are an integral part of the business and no two days are the same. Whoever joins us must be prepared for hands on, hard work, as you will not only be expected to navigate to the location but you will also be doing the loading and unloading of containers on construction and residential addresses.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit a Class 1 Hiab Driver. Please note, this person does not necessarily already have to have this qualification, but a willingness to learn. Full in-house training provided.
Experienced Class 1 driver.
Comfortable working alone or part of a team when required.
Ability to use own initiative, think outside the box and take ownership of tasks.
Friendly and approachable at all times, you will be visiting customer sites daily.
Additional details
Permanent contract, minimum 50 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
Must be comfortable and willing to do nights out.
We have a modern fleet of trucks and each driver is assigned their own vehicle.
Full uniform provided.
20 days holiday per year + bank holidays (rising to 25 days).
Additional holiday purchase scheme up to an additional 5 days.
Optional private medical cover with Bupa.
Life assurance benefit 4x annual salary.
Overtime rates paid at:
GBP19.50 Monday - Friday.
GBP31.00 weekends and bank holidays.
