MS587 - HGV Class 1 Driver Salary: GBP42,000 per annumLocation: TruroOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicles for nationwide deliveries and collectionsConduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needsEnsure secure loading, unloading, and safe transportation of goodsAdhere to all DVSA regulations, tachograph laws, and working time directiveMaintain accurate delivery records, paperwork, and logbooksPlan routes efficiently and adapt to traffic or road conditions Skills and Qualifications:
Have previous HGV Class 1 experienceBe dynamic and have a professional approachDemonstrate a commitment to developing you own knowledge and abilitiesHave excellent communication skills, both written and verbalHave exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressureBe a strong team playerBe agile and adapt to changing business needs
