HGV Class 1 Driver

Description

We are looking to hire an HGV driver for a full time, permanent position, based out of our North Shields site:

The Role:

Multi-drop across the UK and Ireland

Tail-lift work on curtain-sided trailers

Familiar routes to the same customers each week

nights out each week will be required @ GBP30

The candidate will need:

Valid class 1 licence for over 3 years

A great attitude with customers, building a rapport as part of our first line of customer service.

To work safely within the Health and safety environmental guidelines, and ensure all vehicle checks are carried out prior to commencement of work

To work within all legal parameters of drivers hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements

Benefits:

GBP42,800 starting wage

5 day equivalent, with regular shift pattern

Day shift driving

25 days holiday, plus 8 days Bank Holiday
