Description
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle, ensuring goods are transported to various locations. Perform regular vehicle checks, ensuring the truck is in good working order before and after each journey. Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high standards of service. Comply with all relevant road safety regulations and company policies. Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and fuel records. Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring all items are properly secured during transit. Manage delivery schedules and ensure prompt communication regarding any delays or issues. Collection and Deliveries on curtain sider vehicles. Start times varied – days, afternoons and evening shifts required. Key Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence. Digital tachograph card and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver is highly desirable. Good understanding of road traffic regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends or night shifts, if required. A good level of physical fitness, as manual handling, may be required. Must have 2 years driving experience. How to Apply:
