Class 1 Driver

Overtime: Enhanced rate

Contract: Permanent

Location: B46 1HQ

Available Shift:

Mon - Fri, 50hrs/wk, Days/Nights available

Salary: GBP36,218 - GBP37,596 PA

Operating commercial vehiclesLoad and unload goodsMaking sure loads are safely securedFollowing traffic reports and adapting routes if necessaryCarrying out basic routine maintenanceCompleting delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around check or any documentationFollowing the compliance, tacho master and other regulations and laws that are applicable Technical Skills:

A valid HGV licenseKnowledge of transportation laws and regulationsAbility to operate HGVs safely and efficientlyBasic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairFamiliarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices The successful candidate will:

Be present with a Positive and Can-do attitudeBe flexible and reliableMinimum 1 year experience of driving C1Have great communication skillsBe able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 26 weeks)Provide a full 5-year checkable historyHold a Clean Driving Licence (If the position requires it)Hold valid DQC and up to date CPC Required
