Job Title: Class 1 Driver / LGV 1 Driver / HGV 1 Driver / CE DriverShifts: Monday to FridayShift start times: AM - Location: BanburySalary: GBP17.16p.h Basic (up 50hrs) / GBP22.30p.h O/T (over 50 hours)Contract Type: Ongoing until the end of 2025.Are you looking for an excellent new job opportunity with an immediate start?If so, we may have the perfect role for you.Pertemps have excellent opportunities for LGV 1 Driver's to join our team, working for our client out of their Banbury depot.You will be required carry out nationwide store deliveries, shift start times will be between 0300 - 0600 for AM Drivers. On an average shift you can expect to carry out 4-5 deliveries per day, working an average of 10hrs per shift. As part of your duties you will be required to unload lightweight stock at delivery points. You will need to be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a positive, great work ethic.We are looking for drivers who are able to demonstrate a high level of driving competence, with a flexible approach and good understanding of driver hours and regulations.Successful candidates will report to the Transport team, as part of your duties you will be expected to:Adhere to company procedures and regulationsManage your own working time, while adhering to tachograph rules and regulationsCarry out daily vehicle checksCarry out customer deliveries in a safe and timely mannerMaintain a high standard of behaviour and appearanceTo be a successful HGV 1 Driver, LGV 1, Cat CE, Class 1 Driver, you will have the following skills and experiences:Must hold a UK HGV 1 UK driving licenceMust have at least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK in the last 2 yearsHave a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposesHold a valid CPC DQCHave excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulationsTo apply for this position please click the apply button or contact Pertemps Banbury.
