Job Description for HGV Class 1 Driver

Trunking work. Deliver goods to specified locations in line with the delivery schedule. Complete all paperwork accurately and thoroughly. Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all health, safety and hygiene standards. Maintain a good working knowledge of transport operations. Effectively manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Working Time Regulations. Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures. Ensure proofs of delivery (PODs) are signed and returned to Transport after delivery. Meet fuel–efficiency targets set by the business. Any other duties as reasonably required. Essential Requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver

Minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience. Full UK C+E (Class 1) licence, valid CPC and Digi/Tachograph card. National Insurance number. Right to work in the UK. Good level of English. Flexibility with start times. What We Offer for HGV Class 1 Driver
