We are seeking a Finance Business Partner with a forward–thinking, inquisitive mindset and a passion for driving business performance. This is an office–based role where you will play a pivotal part in shaping financial insight, partnering with stakeholders, and influencing strategic decisions.

Job Title: Finance Buisness Partner

Salary: Up to 55,000 + benefits & bonus opportunities

Contract: Permanent, full–time (Mon–Thurs 08:30–17:00, Fri 08:30–15:30)

Location: Banbury (office–based)

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead AP & AR teams, manage cash flow and FX exposure, oversee compliance, and deliver high–quality commercial insight. This role goes beyond traditional reporting – you'll analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to help the business grow.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver commercial insight through budgeting, forecasting, business partnering, data analysis, trend analysis, and integrating financial information into strategic decisions.

Lead, mentor, and develop the AP & AR teams, ensuring high performance and accuracy.

Prepare and present P&L forecasts, long– and short–term cash flow models, and commercial analysis to senior stakeholders.

Own FX exposure management and implement effective hedging or mitigation strategies.

Oversee duty deferment, bonded warehouse compliance, and bank reconciliations.

Manage rebate reconciliations and approvals in line with commercial policy.

Identify and implement process improvements across operational finance functions.

About You

Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.

A commercially minded, inquisitive problem–solver with strong analytical skills.

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, and business partnering.

Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and trend analysis.

Skilled at translating financial data into actionable business insight.

Excellent leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
