Description

We are currently seeking a Temporary Driver to operate a 3.5–tonne open–back truck. This role is ideal for someone with a valid C1 licence who is reliable, safety–conscious, and comfortable driving in various environments.

Role Details:

Position: Temporary Driver

Vehicle: 3.5–tonne open–back truck

Licence Requirement: Valid C1 licence

Start Date: Mid September

Duration: Temporary (exact period to be discussed)

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 3.5–tonne open–back truck

Load and unload goods as required

Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues

Follow delivery schedules and routes provided

Ensure all driving is in line with road safety and company policies

Requirements:

Valid clean C1 driving licence (essential)

Previous experience driving similar–sized vehicles essential

Good communication and timekeeping skills

Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading

You must be over 25 years old for insurance reasons.The hours of work are 6.00am –2.30pm Monday to Friday.
