Driver / Refueller / Shunter Role Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Driver / Refueller / Shunter to join our client s team at Luton Airport. This varied role is essential in supporting the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operation, ensuring vehicles and equipment are safe, fuelled, and ready for use.

You will be responsible for refuelling vehicles and equipment, carrying out essential checks (oil, water, hydraulic fluids, battery water top–ups), and moving vehicles between locations. The role also involves supporting workshop technicians with general duties, collecting and delivering parts, assisting with inspections, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Refuel vehicles and equipment, recording fuel quantities, fleet numbers, hours run, and mileageCarry out daily checks: oil, water, hydraulic fluids, and EV battery distilled water top–upsShunt and ferry vehicles safely across airport locationsAssist GSE Technicians with preparatory work and general workshop dutiesCollect and deliver spare parts as requiredSupport with inspections and ensure records are kept accuratelyQuarantine and report defective tools or equipmentMaintain workshop vehicles in good orderUse the company time scanning system correctly and report any issues promptly Driver / Refueller / Shunter What s on Offer
