Salary: 28,177.50 – 29,835.00 Per Annum

Job type: Permanent, Full Time. Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations, being responsible for the seamless transportation and delivery of items from our distribution centre to clients or businesses in and around the London area

We are looking for the highest standard delivery drivers to join our team and maintain our gold standard service, we are also able to provide the correct training to help employees achieve these standards, we are seeking employees who would like to join our friendly team on a starting salary of 28,177.50, and quickly grow earnings as well as long term career potential by learning and upskilling using our in house training programme, this helps us be able to deliver our PDC certification level passes regularly which the company has to offer, in a comfortable, structured way to ensure our employees achieve results and are rewarded for them, especially for those who would like to earn more money and eager to learn new or more skills.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities.

Delivering approx. 10 – 15 drops per day on pre routed delivery schedule, with generous timed drops allowing time to spend helping customer place goods where needed.Assigned your own van to keep clean, tidy, and maintained.Responsible for daily vehicle safety checks ensuring sufficient fuel is available and vehicles comply with road safety standards.Loading, transporting and delivery of items from PDC's warehouse to businesses of our valued customers in a safe and timely manner, forging relationships with them.Deliver goods to a dynamic and multicultural community of customers, prioritising effective communication and sensitivity to cultural differences during deliveries. Building positive relationships using exceptional service, professionalism, courtesy, and cultural understanding.Proof of Delivery: Ensure the collection of customer signatures as proof and take clear pictures of successful delivery.Requirements:

It is crucial for our insurance purposes that candidates are over 30 years of ageValid driver's license with a clean driving record.Experience of driving a long wheelbase vanExperience in delivery driving and warehouse operations.Familiarity with navigation tools and software for route optimisation.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 25kgStrong communication skills and a customer–focused approach.Adherence to safety protocols and regulationsGood geographical knowledge of UK road networkAbility to self–manage and motivate.Math's and English at GCSE Grade C or 4Commitment to the role and reliabilityAbility to follow policys and proceduresFlexibility to be able to carry out overtime when neededPlease note that we are based in East Hanningfield (CM3 8EB) and you must be a Driver with permanent access to a car as we are not accessible in any way via public transport!Benefits:
