Position Summary Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are currently working in partnership with a well established manufacturing business who are now seeking a reliable and safety-conscious FLT Driver (Counterbalance) to join their dynamic Materials Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site, supporting production operations and ensuring timely delivery of components.

Key Responsibilities Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently across the manufacturing siteLoad and unload a wide variety of materials, ensuring careful handling of valuable componentsSupply materials to production areas and remove completed components for dispatchMaintain accurate stock records and participate in regular stock checksDevelop a strong understanding of product and component specificationsAdhere to all site safety protocols, including working in mask-only areas when requiredCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth material flow and support continuous improvement initiatives Essential Requirements Valid Counterbalance FLT licenseProven experience in a similar FLT or warehouse roleStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and organisational skills Desirable Attributes Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentFamiliarity with stock control systems and proceduresWillingness to undertake additional training and development Benefits Competitive salary with shift premium29 days holiday per yearCompany pension schemeFree on-site parkingUniform and PPE providedAccess to employee benefit platform and recognition programsLong-term job security in a family-run, expanding businessOngoing training and development opportunities If you are interested in finding out more about this exciting opportunity, please contact Adam Norris at Reed or apply now.
