About the Role:

One of my local government clients are currently recruiting for an experienced Community Safety Officer to join their Community Safety team on a short-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting safer communities and tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) at a local level.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on risk assessments related to crime and ASB across Camden’s communities.

*

Deliver tailored specialist interventions and provide advice to residents and stakeholders.

*

Make informed decisions about deploying resources effectively in response to ASB reports.

*

Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve complex cases.

*

Maintain accurate records and contribute to the council’s strategic objectives around community safety.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

*

Proven experience in community safety, ASB, crime prevention, or a similar field.

*

Strong understanding of risk assessment and case management processes.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with communities and partners.

*

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

*

Knowledge of local authority responsibilities around community protection is desirable.
