Job Title: HGV Drivers – Waste Collection (Bolton)
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Employer: Bolton Council (Local Authority)
Salary: 13.77 per hour
Contract Type: Full–Time, PAYE

About the Role:
We are recruiting experienced HGV Drivers to join our dedicated Waste Collection Team in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors with the local council, driving bin wagons and assisting with public waste collection.
As a driver in our team, you will be responsible for:
Driving bin wagons and assisting with waste collection in the local community.
Working closely with a team of 2 bin loaders to complete daily routes.
On occasion, you may be asked to support as a loader, but you will always be paid the driver's rate.
Complying with all health and safety regulations and local council policies.
Shift Details:
Start Time: 06:30 AM, Tuesday to Friday
End Time: Job and finish (usually by mid–afternoon)
Potential for overtime on weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements:
Valid HGV licence (held for at least 6 months)
Must be 21 years or older due to insurance purposes
No DR10, IN10, or more than 6 points on your driving licence
Previous experience with outdoor work or waste collection is preferred but not essential, as long as you have HGV driving experience
