Description
We are currently recruiting for Class 2 drivers for our large reputable client in Gloucester.
Monday to Friday 07.00 – 17.00
Pay: GBP13–GBP13.50 per hour
The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:
• Multi drop deliveries and collections within set geographical areas
• Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security and positive load fit
• Completing daily vehicle checks on your Company device
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team providing updates on progress aiding management of customer expectations
• Maintaining the highest professional driving and legal standards
Role Requirements:
• UK Class 2 Category C Driving Licence
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
• Passion for providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible and self–motivated.
