Class 2 Driver

Description

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a flatbed truck, to transport goods and materials to designated locations

- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and adherence to safety regulations

- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays

- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise

Qualifications:

- Valid commercial C1, HGV CLASS 2 license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in flatbed and Hiab experience.

- Ability to operate and navigate various types of trucks and Hiabs.

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues

- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: GBP13.50-GBP19.56 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
