06:00-18:00 - GBP16.66 per hour18:00-06:00 - GBP20.81 per hour Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
Trunking from depot to depot in the East Midlands - up to 4 runs dailyUsing straps to secure loads on trailer - can be awkward due to cargoOperate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills:
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skills Desirable Experience:
Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial Training:
Driver's Assessment will have to be completedAfter successful assessment, you will be inducted the same day Contact:
