Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our clients which specialises in general haulage deliveries.
Information about this Class 1 position:
AD HOC work (between Monday to Friday)Delivering palletised goods on a Class 1 curtain siderTrailer swaps, trunk runsDay and night shifts 10-12 hour daysPallets are loaded and unloaded for you with FLTCommunicating with Transport Office, following provided routes, completing all relevant paperwork correctly Requirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:
Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi cardMinimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicleGreat communication skillsExperience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveries/ strappingOwn transport to commute to and from workFantastic time keeping and communications skillsComplete daily vehicle checksComply with the companies health and safety proceduresRecord Tacho hours correctly Benefits of a Class 1 Driver working for Driver Hire Southampton:
