Description
Class 1 Personnel are working with National Client and leader in parcel delivery to find multiple Class 1 Drivers to join the team in Chelmsford area. As an Class 1 Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will be required to trunk parcels and mail between depots across Clients. There is very little manual work, and shifts are offered 1 week in advance. We have competitive pay rates and an array of start times and days available to suit.
Key Requirements:
Held HGV licence for minimum of 1 yearsHave worked a minimum of 180 driving days in last yearNo mare that 3 penalty pointsValid CPC and TachoThe role:
Trunking to DC's nationwideAverage 9–10 hours per shift
Hours for this role will be shifts throughout the days, with early morning start and nights shifts. We guarantee minimum of 7.5hrs per shift, but most shifts are between 9 to 10 hrs per shifts:
We can offer an attractive payrates from 20.53ph
This position is being offered as ongoing temporary work
You will undergo a driving assessment (4 hrs) and your infringement will be checked as part of the assessment. You will also be required to complete a thorough vetting process including a DBS check for this role
