Stafforce is currently recruiting Car Drivers on behalf of our client based in North Shields. This role involves safely moving and parking vehicles within a port environment, including discharging vehicles from vessels. We're looking for reliable, professional individuals with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Shifts & Pay Rates:

Day Shift: 06:00 – 21:59 – 12.21/hourNight Shift: 22:00 – 05:59 – 13.21/hourWeekend Shifts: Variable hours – 16.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Discharging cars from Ro–Ro vessels safely and efficientlyDriving and parking vehicles around the port as instructedFollowing traffic marshals' directions and site proceduresAdhering to all health and safety regulationsWorking as part of a team to meet tight deadlines

Required Experience & Skills:

Full UK Driving Licence (no points)Previous commercial driving experienceConfident handling various vehicle types (manual and automatic)Comfortable driving in tight or confined spacesAbility to follow strict port safety proceduresGood communication and ability to follow instructionsTeam player with a proactive and flexible attitudeExperience discharging vehicles from vessels is advantageous but not essentialPrevious port or Ro–Ro terminal experience is a bonusImmediate starts available for the right candidates.
