Associate Transport Planner – Lead Your Own Department

I'm working with a well–established civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking to appoint an Associate or Principal Transport Planner to lead and grow their transport planning capability out of their Leeds office.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity for someone who's ready to take the next step – leading a service line, working directly with a senior leader, and playing a key role in shaping the business as it grows.

The Opportunity:

The company has been around for over 20 years, with a strong track record in the residential development sector – working with a broad mix of national and regional housebuilders.Around 18 months ago, they opened a new office in Leeds which is already 5 strong, as part of a 30–person business.The plan now is to build out the transport planning service – and that's where you come in.You won't be expected to arrive with a 'black book' of clients. The existing leadership has deep client relationships in place – your role will be to support and deliver, not shoulder the full burden of work winning from day one.

You'll work closely with the regional lead to:

Build and deliver a high–quality transport planning offerShape and execute the business planEventually grow and manage your own team as the workload increasesWhat They're Looking For:
