Job description

All 7.5t Customer Delivery and Installation Drivers play a critical role in achieving our purpose of helping everyone enjoy amazing technology. Not only will you be safely delivering, installing and collecting of a range of electrical products into our customers homes, which include White Goods, Televisions and cookers you will help us become a market leader by providing unrivalled customer service.

Responsibilities.

To safely deliver, install and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions and Cookers in the customers propertyEngaging with customers, keeping them informed and ensuring their delivery and the installation is carried out to the highest standard following best practice guidanceTo maintain regular contact with your site throughout the day to meet any changes to a customer delivery request, discussing and escalating unplanned issues, seeking guidance and adapting as necessaryTo ensure the handheld operating device (Savvy) is always used correctly by completing visits and obtaining customer signaturesTo liaise with Manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessaryTo handle all products safely and with care, supporting your colleagues to do the sameAble to meet the physical requirements of the roleTo ensure you follow continuous professional development, maintaining your driving license and ensuring required training and knowledge is kept up to dateManage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day. Regularly review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety whilst using equipment provided (i.e., straps and sack barrows)To ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and law.To work compliantly, following driving regulations, site specific requirements, company and health and safety policies, to keep our Customers and Colleagues safeTo always drive safely, showing respect and courtesy to other road usersTo represent the external face acting as a brand ambassador by role modelling our values and demonstrating our customer's first behavioursTo carry out the delivery and collection of tote boxes and products from our retail stores.

Required skills and experience.

A passion for delivering excellent customer serviceStrong verbal communication, both on the phone and face–to–face in our customer's homeTo work flexibly, alone or collaboratively with colleagues, to ensure we win togetherTo utilise equipment and correctly handle products to ensure best practice for a safe delivery e.g., following manual handling and Health and Safety trainingTakes responsibility for own learning and help us become the home for the best talentPrevious experience driving a 7.5t vehicle or meet criteria to train toward license (e.g., 6 months experience of driving a 3.5T vehicle with no driver blameworthy accidents and no more than 3 new points)Ability to use initiative to problem solve in a timely and calm manner to ensure both business and customer needs are satisfiedQualifications
