3.5t Breakdown Recovery Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking x2 3.5T Recovery Operatives based within or local to Braintree Eseex.

Reliabilty, Hardworking and willing to do very long days is a must. As a Recovery Operative you will be responsible for assisting and recovering vehicles from the roadside, in Essex and local counties.

This position requires a full & clean valid UK driver's license .

Duties :

-Daily Vehicle Checks

-Spare Wheel Changes

-Battery Jump Starts

-Loading and Unloading Disabled Vehicles Safely, Including Motorcycles.

-Dealing with vehicles in dangerous locations, including hardshoulders and ditches

-Dealing with vulnerable members of the public.

-Keeping Vehicle clean and tidy

-Other typical duties associated with this type of role

Experience :

- Previous experience in a similar position disarable

- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle repairs is preferred

- Experience Driving LWB vans is a must

- Excellent customer service is a must as you will be in the truck with customers everyday.

Hours & Pay :

Rates of pay are GBP15ph between the hours of 6am - 10pm and increase to GBP17ph between 10pm - 6am.

You are paid for the hours you work and are on call from home with the truck, a safe place to park the truck is obviously a must

You will work upto 12hours per day, but only when your on the road will this count towards the hours, so you can be out morning till night.

You will receive an agreed minimum per week, if its quite and your sat at home, THIS WONT HAPPEN. But there for your peice of mind.

You work every other weekend and have a day off in the week.

This is a 24/7 365 business , so working over the Christmas and bank holiday periods is standard.

PAYE , PENSION

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: GBP15.00-GBP17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
