Talent Consultant (Starting Well)

Location: Havering

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £22.55 per hour (PAYE) / £29.44 per hour (Umbrella)

Working Hours: Full-time

Working Arrangements: Hybrid

Adecco is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Havering Council for a Talent Consultant to join their Starting Well service. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative talent management solutions within a dynamic local authority setting.

About the Role

As a Talent Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing talent strategies that support the council's workforce needs. You'll work across all aspects of talent management - attraction, identification, development, engagement, and deployment - ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of talent strategies with expert advice and guidance that enhances the employee experience.

Manage recruitment processes and administration, ensuring timely completion and accurate record-keeping.

Contribute to employer branding and the development of Havering's employee value proposition.

Collaborate with HR and communications teams to ensure recruitment information is accessible and engaging.

Lead recruitment campaigns using approved frameworks, working closely with senior leaders and external agencies.

Advise managers on sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-quality talent, including internal redeployment options.

About You

Proven experience in talent management or recruitment within a public sector or complex organisation.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
