HR Advisor

Based in Wolverhmapton with occasional travel to Carlisle

What's On Offer:

Competitive salary of £35,000-£38,000

37.5 hours per week with a flexible working approach (between 8am-5pm)

A vibrant and supportive HR team environmentWe're looking for a proactive HR Advisor to join our dynamic team. You'll be the go-to person for HR queries, supporting managers and employees across the business. From handling employee relations cases to driving engagement and wellbeing initiatives, you'll play a key role in shaping a positive workplace culture.

What you'll do:

Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment law

Lead and manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance issues, and absence management

Coach and support line managers to build confidence in handling sensitive HR matters

Contribute to people-focused projects such as employee engagement, wellbeing, change management, and learning & development

Analyse HR data and trends to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement

Ensure accurate maintenance of HR systems and employee records in line with GDPR

Support the employee lifecycle including onboarding, induction, probation reviews, and offboarding

Assist with payroll preparation by providing timely and accurate data

Stay up to date with employment legislation and recommend updates to policies and practices

Prepare HR reports and insights to support business planning

Travel to our Carlisle site once a month to provide on-site HR supportWhat you'll need:

CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices

Experience managing ER cases independently

Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systemsBenefits include:
