Description

Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking an HR Advisor to join their team at an exciting time of growth.

Due to team growth and expansion our client is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team, where you will be acting as the first point of contact for any employee-related issues whilst providing a high level of training, support and coaching to management around people-related management and best practice.

The successful candidate will be CIPD Level 5 qualified have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar HR function.

Due to the location of the office candidates will be required to have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, capability, absence etc

* Provide a high level of coaching and advice to Managers, in line with employment law and policies

* Lead and support on ER casework from start to finish

* Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all ER cases

* Provide support across the whole employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, inductions and contract changes

* Support with the rollout of HR programs and initiatives

* Maintain and update internal HR systems and databases, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times

Key Experience:

* A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar HR Advisor position

* CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards)

* Confident and experienced when dealing with ER cases

* Previous experience in the Financial Services industry would be advantageous, although not essential

* Used to working with management across the business, providing support, coaching and best practice

* Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice

* Confident communicator, used to liaising with colleagues of all levels across the business

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
